Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class (2003-2009) W209

The Mercedes-Benz W209 CLK-Class is a series of entry level sports coupes and convertibles produced from 2002 to 2009. This was the second generation of the CLK-Class and is shared with the C-Class platform. It was available with a wide group of engines from a 161 hp 4-cyl to a 5.4L V8 producing 362 hp in the CLK55 AMG.

In 2005 the CLK-Class was updated with new front and rear bumpers, grille, and new taillights. A new 7-speed transmission was added and the CLK500 and CLK63 AMG models were added with 382 and 475 hp respectively.

In 2007 the high performance CLK63 AMG Black Series was introduced with a staggering 500 hp. It also features manually adjustable suspension, limited slip differential, racing bucket seats, and a diffuser, spoiler, and wide fenders made of carbon fiber. The top speed for this special edition AMG Black Series was 186 mph.
