BMW 7-Series E65 (2002-2008)

The E65 7-series BMW is the 4th generation of BMW's full-size luxury sedan produced from 2001-2008 and was the first of BMW's new styling direction. It was the first of BMW's vehicles to include the iDrive infotainment system and an electronic smart key and was the introduction of BMW's 6-speed transmission. The model designations for the US were the 745i and the 745Li long wheelbase version.

For the 2003 model year the iDrive system was updated, the front and rear fascia were changed, and the V12 powered 760i and 760Li were introduced. Featuring 439 hp the 760i variant propelled from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.

In 2005 the iDrive system was updated again, the front and rear fascia were updated as well as the taillights, and the 740i and 750i models were introduced featuring increased hp over the models they replaced.
