Introduced in Europe in 2006, the second-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, also known as the NCV3, was introduced in North America in 2007. The US cargo version of the 906 NCV3 came in either a 144" or 170" wheelbase option, and was offered in either standard 60.6" roof height, or an optional high roof at 72.4". Three lengths were offered for the 906 NCV3: short at 233.3"; standard at 274.2"; and extended at 289.8", and two weight classes (2500, 3500) with the 3500 class having the option of dual rear wheels or rear super singles.
