Bimmerspecialist's objective is to manage returns at the lowest possible cost to our customers and ourselves. Returns are costly to manage, and we do our best to minimize their frequency. We do not make any money from returns, as we are only interested in recovering a part of the real costs incurred while managing them. It is for this reason that we have a re-stocking fee.
We are very proud to say that our current return rate is less than 0.5%, one of the lowest in the industry. You can shop with confidence! but if you need to return items, we will help you.

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return products that:
-Are in their original undamaged packaging
-Have original manufacturer information
-Are not used, installed, or disassembled
-Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
-Parts in sealed container: Seal must be intact.
-Do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions
-Special orders CANNOT be canceled even if its has not been shipped yet and its on order from supplier(s)since its not regular stock and we cannot return it, you buy it, you own it.
The following orders are not returnable:
-Electrical/ Parts and Components (Such as: ECU's, Push Button Units, relays, air flow meters, bulbs, switch, sensors, etc...)
-Parts in sealed containerthat have been opened.
-Cd changer installation kit, unless we shipped the wrong one we will exchange it for the correct one
-Automotive repair manuals
-Shipping large body parts such as Hood/door is a very risky business and BimmerSpecialist suggest that you buy them locally. However if you decide to buy from us please be aware that there is "NO COVERAGE" by Bimmerspecialist. ALL sheet metal parts (including body parts): Body parts need preparation and we rarely receive parts from manufacturer/distributor that are in perfect condition and the part you will receive will not be in perfect condition either and its why your body shop will need to "prepare" the part before painting/installing so the final result will be perfect and as expected. If required we will assist you with freight carrier claim if obvious abnormal damage that will make the part unusable and as been sustain in shipping process. All other claims/return request will be denied. The coverage for damages is limited to the coverage offered by the carrier, if the carrier accept the claim and cover the part, we will refund you, if the claim is denied for any reasons, unfortunatly we wont be able to cover. Please be aware.
-Special orders CANNOT be cancelled even if its has not been shipped yet and its on order from supplier(s)since its not regular stock and we cannot return it, you buy it, you own it. Most of the parts not listed on our website are considered as special order items, contact us for more details. We do our best to deliver parts as fast as we can, but we cannot guarantee delivery time/delay on special/custom order.
Restocking Fees
-Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection (of the return), and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, your refund is subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
-Items incorrectly shipped to bimmerspecialist.com will not be returned. -Items not purchased from us will not be accepted.
-We will issue a refund for any returned products when your return meets the above requirements.
-The shipping cost, return shipping cost and re-stocking fees will be credited only in those instances where the return is a result of our error (the part you have received is not the part you have ordered).
How we handle returns / Initate a Return now
- STEP #1 : Fill the Return form below. This will open a "ticket" with a reference number so we can track your request for the return. You will receive immediatly an email confirmation from our ticket system.

- STEP #2 We will respond to your open ticket / RMA request within 2 business days wtih a Fedex RMA and shipping information. Do not ship before you have received the RMA from us. (RMA numbers typically look like this FXUP0RA12345678$0000012)
- Note: Oversized parts / high value returns are handled differently. Submit the return form and we will give you the details how to return
- STEP #3Print the FedEx bar code that we have provided in the RMA return instructions. We are not accepting direct returns shipped with other carrier. It must be shipped with our Fedex Return RMA system.
- STEP #4 You package the box properly with all the original manufacturer/documentation in a NEW condition
- STEP #5Bring the box and the Fedex RMA bar code to one of the selected Fedex return location: http://fedex.com/locatorreturns
- STEP #6FedEx/kinkos will label and ship back the box to the appropriate location. They wont charge you any shipping cost up front. We will simply apply the actual cost of Fedex RMA shipping cost on your refunded amount
- STEP #7As soon we process your return, we will apply your credit and email you the confirmation.
NOTE: We are not able to handle the oversized / high value items with the regular fedex RMA, please submit the return form and we will respond with proper shipping informations.
How we calculate your refund
Exemple:
Product value: $100
Shipping cost when you have placed the order: $4
Total charged on your credit card: $104.00
Re-stocking fee on the product 15% of $100 = $15
Actual fedex shipping cost for the RMA label: $8.50 (can be calculated on www.fedex.com with the weight/dimension of your box, this amount will change in function of your return weight and size)
We will refund $100 - 15 (restocking fee) - 8.50 (fedex return shipping cost) = $76.50
