THIS IS A QUICK GUIDE TO HELP YOU IDENTIFY YOUR BMW EXACT MODEL AND ACTUAL PRODUCTION YEAR AND MONTH AND HOW TO SHOP ON OUR CATALOG AND SELECT THE CORRECT PARTS FOR YOUR BMW

Step #1 :  Decode your VIN or determine your actual month and year of actual production

The above identification plate is usually found on the driver side door frame.

#1 This is the exact BMW model (check the above picture 325IA-C)

#2 This is the exact month and year of actual production (check the above picture month = 10 (october) and year is 03 for 2003) (Very useful)

#3 This is the Actual VIN part that you need to decode if you don't have access to the above indent plate (check the above picture PL27978)

STEP #2  Important information's before beginning shopping

Now that you know your exact BMW model and actual year and month of actual production you can begin shopping with a very minimal risk to select a wrong part.

Here is few tips that you should be aware when you navigate on our catalogue and buy parts.

A) Read the application notes:  Now that you have identified the actual model, year and month of your BMW you can select the correct part.

As you can see on the following picture, you need to identify which part will fit your BMW. Better to be safe than sorry! Take the time to read the notes

B)  How many I need?  All parts are sold individually unless sold as a kit or a set. 

The following picture show you how many is installed on this 528i. So if you need to replace the spark plug on that 528i, you need to order 6 of them.

This picture show a part that is sold as a set. It means, unless noted, that all the usual parts required are included in the "kit" and you don't need to buy all individual parts.  Some vehicule might need 2 or more kit.
